Pastors Dan and Sara Marrero have been with Fountain of Living Water for 15 years under the same spiritual covering of Apostles Robert and Marta Gomez of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. In 1997 they received a calling from the Lord to preach the Word of Faith in the city of Wichita Falls, Texas where they founded the first English speaking church in the 33 year history of Foutain of Living Water Intl.
With three adults, they opened Fountain of Living Water -Wichita Falls July, 17, 1997 in a building that measured 900 square feet. Pastor Marrero's dynamic & enthusiastic delivery of God's Word has been ministering to thousands since November 17, 1998 when he established our weekly broadcast of Fountain of Living Water's "Workshop" (Television Ministry).
July 22, 1998 the Lord led them to their second location that now measured 9,000 square feet and a congregation that had grown to 50 members. In the year 2000 with a membership that had now grown to 120, the Lord blessed them with the ability to be one of the youngest churches in the movement to ever purchase their own building, now measuring 19,000 square feet "under roof" and three acres in length in the center of the community, where it remains today as a light of hope to the entire city.
In 2004 Pastor Marrero and his family expanded the vision by opening the doors of Fountain of Living Water - San Antonio, Texas on June 17 where they immediately acquired a location and established Fountain of Living Water's "Workshop"( San Antonio edition) while simultaneously pastoring both churches in Texas (6 hours apart in distance - via airlines) and growing to a group of 33 members in a year of ministering in San Antonio.
Pastor Marrero received the opportunity from the Lord and through the Apostolic Council to continue the work and establish the first bilingual church of Fountain of Living Water- New York, aka Fuente de Agua Viva- New York where he currently resides with his wife and two daughters, Ruth and Sara. Today he continues to minister to thousands through our bilingually dual broadcasts of Fountain of Living Water's "Workshop" and in Spanish -"Fuente de Agua Viva" (Television Ministry).
The First Lady, Sara Marrero, met and married Pastor Marrero on May 19, 1994. Since then she has been his ideal helper in establishing these great works of God (Genesis 2:18). Her trademark smile, heartfelt anointing and love for the people of God has been quoted as "unquestionable." She ministers in every area of ministry dedicating the first 5 years as Children's Church Director, advancing to Administrative Director and even expanding to areas of Director of Media as well as preaching the Word of God. In New York as well as in Texas and to all who know her, she is a beloved woman of God.
Together with the congregation their vision is to build the Pavilion of Faith of New York and to minister bilingually to as many souls as possible so that through Christ they come to the understanding that we are all "Working on Something" ( Philippians 1:6) and that Jesus loves them just as they are today (Ephesians 2:1).
